Beth started riding at age 6 while her family was temporarily relocated to London, England. It was there that her lifelong passion for horses began. A Cincinnati native, Beth has trained with some of the best the area has to offer.As a child she rode with a dressage trainer and showed successfully until moving into the Hunter/ Jumper arena. Beth has successfully shown in many divisions including ponies, equitation, amateur hunter and amateur jumper divisions. She has worked with retraining ex-race horses as well as starting young ones.
As a young wife and mother of two children, Beth has continued her passion for riding with a professional career. Beth has a very gentle and patient approach that is appreciated by both horse and rider alike. Beth prides herself on providing her students with a fun, safe, and educational atmosphere.
Lessons
LESSON EXPECTATIONS: Lessons will be an hour. Riders are expected to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to lesson to groom and tack their horse, and stay after to put their horse away and clean their tack. This provides the student with time to bond with their horse, as well as teaching the student responsibility. Assistance with this will be provided for the beginner and young students.
LESSON ATTIRE: Safety approved riding helmet and boots with heels are mandatory when mounted. Paddock boots and chaps, or boots and breeches are preferred when riding. Jodhpur pants and paddock boots are appropriate for young children. We want you to be safe and comfortable so you can enjoy your ride time!
